About a week ago I went to the Northampton location and ordered a burrito and 4 tacos. The woman said, there are two tacos per order, so you want two orders? I said yes, paid, took my order to go and got home having paid for two orders and received one order with two tacos. THEN, last night my husband went to the Amherst location and ordered 6 tacos no cheese on corn tortillas. He has a gluten allergy and I can't eat dairy. He picked them up at 6pm so when we both get home at 10 there's something to eat. The 6 tacos were in flour tortillas and had cheese. Neither of us got dinner. This has been a waste of money and food we can't eat. Beware when ordering to go, open it all up and check because they don't care.
Perhaps I'm overly picky because I'm from San Diego and am used to abundant authentic Mexican food, but this place is really poor. Not only does it only vaguely resemble the real article, but it's not even a tasty if poor imitation. I couldn't finish my burrito because of how bad it was. The meat was bland and their salsas have no heat. Others with me liked it but I left feeling shocked at the amount I payed when I could've bought a far better burrito at home for 3/4ths of the price.
Yesterday I had called bueno and place an order for a chicken burrito with no veggies or cheese. (The women on the line was super rude) My friend went to go pick up the order for me and when he got there she had gotten the order wrong, luckily she said what the burrito had in it and my friend said “no, that’s wrong. She didn’t want veggies in it.” The cashier looked really confused and he said that she was a bit rude as well and told them to make another order. The burrito that was given to my friend was really small but he assumed it was because they actually got it right. When he brought me my burrito, the burrito ONLY HAD CHICKEN. No rice, no beans. I called immediately and told them how they messed up my order. They apologized and told me to give a name and a correct order and that I can come in and get a burrito on the house. This hasn’t been the first time they have messed up my order. I love bueno but the service sometimes is really bad.
The best burrito place ever!!! Even on my no carb/no sugar diet they are still soooooo good and willing to accommodate their customers!
These guys are great! They have wicked quick service if you go a little before the lunch rush and they Burritos. They also have spots in Northampton and a couple down in the Springfield area.
