Why I'll never go here again: Last year, I was out with a friend at Fresh Side. I her I'd cover the bill for tea and a few t-rolls, so she left. I go to pay, but I'd forgotten my credit card.
Was suggested to me by a friend and didn't know what to expect going in. Was very pleasantly surprised with the great atmosphere. When I my food arrived it may have just been one of the most delicious things that I had tasted that month! Highly recommended.
I used to go here frequently, although I wasn't a big fan of the food. It was convenient and cheap. Now I'd rather go other places.
I was immediately told no, and was told I was not allowed to leave the restaurant until I paid. I had to wait until my boyfriend got out of class so he could bike over to free me. Felt like being held hostage. :(
Used to be a great BYOB place with great quality thai food but unfortunately the standards have started dropping since past few years. I also noticed recently that the size of the sangria pitcher has reduced significantly. I used to love this place but after multiple disappointments I am saddened to say that things have not improved. Hopefully things will get better.
Peanut noodle salad with chicken is my go to meal. I like the tea rolls as well or the pad thai. I am a regular and the owner knows me by name and knows what I like. Locally owned and operated. You can find her behind the counter 5 days a week ensuring the quality of the food and service.
Awesome, fresh, delicious food with a great Vegan and Vegetarian selection.
So I told the woman working, "I forgot my credit card, but my bike is right here, I'm an Amherst student and I can be back with money in 10 minutes. Here, I am leaving my Mac and my iPhone and backpack with you, I promise I will be back." This was an $8 bill, mind you.
