Great selection of creative toppings but I prefer the thin crust New Have style pizza which you can't find in Western MA.
The shop is somewhat small, but it is otherwise a perfect pizza shop. The staff are outgoing friendly people, and the pizza is superb. It is the best pizza I have ever eaten.
An institution in downtown Amherst. Known for it's creative and filling pizza by the slice. Mostly take out service, but a few small tables in the front. Their pizza is loaded with toppings, including things like avocado, tortilla chips, ravioli, pesto, bacon and buffalo chicken. Two slices are enough for a meal. They sell only pizza and drinks.
It’s the best. And the service is amazing. Any time I’m on my way to or from Amherst and need a fast bite, Antonio’s is my choice. It’s nutritious and fresh, you get to see the actual pizza as you order it, and it’s ready in a few minutes.
I highly recommend ordering the Sicilian Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and eating it immediately. The top part of the crust is soft and fluffy. Combined with the ranch, sauce, and cheese, there is a sensation of a melting packet of flavor with each bite. Yet the bottom part of the crust and the bacon gives you that crunch that you need to complete the experience.
They are set on their laurels as a destination! I used to drive an hour just to have lunch here! FAKE CHICKEN ! Why cheap out?!? I lost alot of respect not sure ill ever return
