My mother lives right next to Panda East. We eat there a lot, not just out of convenience but because it is the best Chinese food in the area. You can tell just by looking at it, that the food is separated so well and not like a bunch of mush.
The service can be a bit funky, but the food is delicious, the wait time is minimal, and the prices are affordable.
My family has eaten take out from here on multiple occasions (I cannot comment on dine in). They give really good portions. The food is not too salty but has great flavor. The fried rice is really good. The Lo mein noodles are not my favorite. The sweet and sour soup is really tasty. The speed of the takeout is great. Overall a great Chinese food place.
We went on a Wednesday around 8:30 pm. There were only two other people there. We got drinks and food, the food came out quickly and everything tasted great. They were quick with the drinks too. The place was clean but freezing. Also a little pricy, but I think that was because of the drinks we got. 5 people, $132 which is a lot of money but we got 2 scorpion bowls and other drinks. I would go there again but maybe only get an appetizer.
The service is exceptional and the staff welcomes you with smile filled greetings. I would recommend this to the most fickle. Nothing bad to say about it. We go here all of the time.
The food is just as good as any place I've tried in Boston, where I am from.
The experince i observed was very pleasing , my food was at my table in like 15 mins. And i ordered the poo poo platter for 2. The waitress was very pleasent and eye pleasing , and courtious and patient with me and my son who has Autism , and can only eat gluten free goods due to his celiac disease. I will be back.
