I have lived in a building (on Prospect St in Noho) managed by Lincoln Real Estate for almost two years. I love the building and Lincoln has been great. If we have any troubles in the apartment they take care of them in a timely fashion.

In two years I would only mention two complaints: (1) we have no control over the level of heat in the apartment; (2) twice we have been contacted saying that our rent for the month wasn't received, when both times they had already cashed the check and not realized it.
If I had to make the choice over again I would definitely choose this building!

I've worked with the folks over at Lincoln Real Estate over the past two years and found them to be professional and knowledgeable about real estate in Hadley, Northampton, and Amherst. Good people all around.
I lived on Hobart Lane for a couple years while I attended UMass. Lincoln Real Estate looks for any minute detail to screw a tenant for. They do not respect their tenants, and look for the easiest way to make their money. While their units are nice and convenient, they are overpriced. Also, they will charge you for things you had nothing to do with as a tenant. It costs $400/yr to obtain a parking pass from them, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE A PAYING TENANT.
I am a parent of a current tenant renting from Lincoln Real Estate. We have had our children rent in Boston and oher college towns. We have found that Lincoln has been the BEST! We do not have to deal with LARGE management companies. We can talk to the owners and get things done. Lincoln has given us a wonderful experience.
Do not trust, or rent from Lincoln Real Estate!
