Simply wonderful! The quintessential New England Market. Atkins has everything from their fresh bakery, to the freshest fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood, high quality meat, fudge and dry goods! Also a great place for a quick lunch at the soup and salad bar, or have the full deli make you a custom sandwich! Perfection!
Their chocolate milk is amazing! My best friend and I discovered this place when we were hiking near by. The ice cream is amazing and a medium is huge and not expensive! The market is amazing and the bakery and candy sections are huge! They have a wide variety of fresh produce.
Fresh local produce, bakery items, a place to order, sit and eat. They even have a good selection of wines and beer. You don't feel like you are shopping at a grocery store, it has a more intimate feel to it. There is a wide selection of fruits and vegetables. Even a small gift shop area. There is something for everyone. Very pleasant to shop there. Friendly and helpful staff.
All in one store, a MUST stop if in the area. I live 1.5 hrs away, one way. But I will drive for their variety and freshness. Local meats and cheeses for cold cuts, got to try one of their sandwiches, the 'Club was divine. And also stop by the bakery, you will not be able to leave without buying some goodies
Great selection of local produce. The meat selection is always good. If you ate looking for some interesting candy this is the place. Bakery has some delightful treats too. In the summer you can get great ice cream, but be warned, order the kiddie size unless you have a huge appetite ... the portions are HUGE!
