- Lots of activities

- Normally not crowded

The place also has extensive trails to walk around, a large stream running along the park edges, and a large covered area of picnic tables. There's ample parking which never gets closed to being full.

- Pool

Nothing and I mean nothing will ruin a fun trip to a park than an irresponsible dog owner. So if you bring your pooch please be mindful of that.

Enjoy!!!!

Nice park. Has a pool, baseball field, and playground. There are several tables and grills for use. There is one large covered area for rent. No drinking fountains but there is a bathroom.

The hiking is great. The walks are nice. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. I like the lake even but don't suggest swimming in it. As a girl from the city, the green stuff on the water does not appeal to me.

Clean park with lots of parking. Has what you would want from a local park including two baseball fields, basketball court, and a pavilion that can be rented for events. Lots of nice trails to explore as well.

- Large grass fields

- Tennis courts

Park is generally fuller during the summer and on the weekends, but never gets overcrowded.

- Basketball Courts

- River

When you are done take a walk through the conservation area over the Puffers Pond and the gorgeous waterfall! You will be happy you did, just far enough to walk off your lunch.

Number one park around. It has everything someone might need of a park. Includes the following:

- Softball and Baseball field

- Play structure

- Pool

- Pool is on a schedule and is not open all the time

Huge playground for the kids, public pool for swimming, basketball court, and pavilion.

Pros:

You have it all right here!!

Cons:

- Lots of parking

Riverside picnic area with grills and picnic tables. Two baseball diamonds that are ALWAYS in use with some local league playing.

Only drawback, it can be VERY busy! So be prepared for a lot if people during peak Summer time. And dogs. For the most part, dogs owners that come here are respectful. But I have met way too many dog owners here that do not leash their pets, assume everyone loves thier dog, and does not pick up after them.
